SSCO (School Sports Co-ordinator)
In 2002, the government introduced the PE School Sport and Club Links initiative. The aim of this is to improve the quality of PE and the amount of time given to curriculum PE and school sport. The School Sports Co-ordinator programme was introduced at Wombwell High School in September 2006. The family of schools linked with Wombwell High School are: High View PLC, Jump, Kings Oak PLC, The Ellis PLC and Park Street PLC. The SSCo aims to impact at the High School, the Primary Schools and within the community.
Who is the SSCO at Wombwell High School?
Mrs Mulroy, however, she will be starting her maternity leave at the end of May. Miss Jenkins from Kings Oak PLC will be taking over the role from this date.
