During December 2006, The George Beedan Learning Centre was formerly opened by Mrs Beedan. The Mayor, Councillor Margaret Morgan, Mr. Jeff Ennis MP and Mrs. Edna Sutton were present and the new facility is a fitting tribute to the contribution made by Mr. Beedan during his 30 years as a Governor of the school.
This superb facility will make a real difference to learning for pupils in all years.
